Stitching Tips

Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knits and stretch fabrics to keep the tall vertical composition stable through the full run. Hoop registration matters more than usual here because the white outer border on the bird head will show a visible gap against the black fill if the hoop is slightly off-center. Use a true cardinal red for the feathers and a dark burgundy for the football fill to maintain contrast between the two red elements in the design. Reduce machine speed slightly through the bird head feather section on textured fabrics like fleece or pique to keep the satin columns laying evenly.
