Stitching Tips

Use a medium to heavy cutaway stabilizer on fleece and thick cotton garments to maintain circular alignment through the full stitch run. Ensure firm and even hoop tension before stitching as the curved ATLANTA HAWKS and BASKETBALL lettering paths are sensitive to uneven tension that can cause individual characters to drift from the arc. The white hawk head, inner ring border, and arc lettering all sit on a red field and rely on elevated underlay to stay bright, so do not reduce stabilizer weight on knit fabrics where color bleed between the red base and white fills is most likely. For cap panel applications, use cap-specific backing and test alignment before production.
