Stitching Tips
Use a cutaway stabilizer on knit fabrics and tearaway on woven twill caps and canvas. At 2.5 to 3 inches, apply a water-soluble topping on textured fabrics like pique or fleece to keep the arched CELTICS letterforms clean and prevent stitches from sinking into the pile. Reduce top tension slightly if the shamrock leaf satin fill is pulling at the edges on stretch fabrics. The arching text sits close to the top curve of the clover at all sizes, so consistent hoop tension is essential to keep visual separation between the two elements from crowding at smaller sizes.
