The Boston Red Sox primary cap logo — the ornate B in the club's jersey typeface — as a standalone lettermark. The vertical stem runs the full height of the letter on the left side. The upper bowl forms a rounded arc to the right from the upper stem and returns to the mid-stem point, leaving a distinct upper counter opening. The lower bowl forms a larger rounded arc from the mid-stem and returns to the lower base, leaving a larger lower counter opening. Both counter spaces show the garment through. A white satin outline follows the complete perimeter of the B including the outer face of both bowl arcs, the inner boundary faces of both counter openings, and the ornate bracket serif and curl tail elements at the lower left where the base transitions into decorative outward-curling tail elements characteristic of the Red Sox jersey typeface. The full letter body is filled in red satin. Eleven sizes from 2 to 7 inches tall.
