The Chicago Cubs City Connect alternate mark as an organic shield-like badge. A navy blue satin border follows the outer perimeter — rounded at the top with shallow notched curves at the left that give the silhouette its distinctive shield character. Inside the border, white-silver satin fills the full badge field. A large red C arc occupies the majority of the interior, with its open ends pointing to the right at the upper and lower zones. Within the C arc's white interior zone, "ubs" is set in navy bold lettering — lowercase u, b, and s — centered optically within the available space, with the b's ascender reading clearly against the upper C interior. A small white six-pointed star referencing the Chicago municipal flag is positioned in the lower-left interior of the badge, adjacent to the lower terminus of the C arc.
