The Cleveland Guardians team name wordmark in the franchise's angular block serif typeface. Nine uppercase characters — G, U, A, R, D, I, A, N, S — set on a single horizontal baseline in scarlet red satin fill with a uniform deep navy outline. The block serif style features angular cut terminals at the cap height of taller characters, flat horizontal serifs at the baseline, and a consistent stroke weight across all letterforms with slight optical compensation on the diagonal strokes of the A. The navy outline satin traces the outer perimeter and all inner counter boundaries at a uniform width, maintaining clean open voids in the G, U, A, and D characters. No shadow, no secondary outline, and no background fill. The two-color red and navy construction matches the CLEVELAND city name wordmark exactly, making the two pieces a direct pairing set for jersey-style stacked placement. Stacked two-line jersey placement paired with the CLEVELAND city name wordmark at matching sizes for front or back garment applications. Left-chest placement on polo shirts and zip-up jackets at 4 to 5 inches. Cap visor lettering at 4 to 4.5 inches where the shallow height fits cleanly within the visor panel.
