The Dallas Mavericks primary badge: a circular black field with the stylized maverick horse head split across the center, the left half rendered in white and light gray satin fills with dark gray outline lines defining the mane spikes and facial structure, and the right half in vibrant blue with the same aggressive mane geometry mirrored across. The two-tone split composition fills the full circle interior with no background gaps, and a white satin outer border frames the entire badge with clean definition against any fabric color. Recommended Uses
Centered chest on hoodies and basketball jerseys, jacket back panels at 6 to 7 inches, structured cap fronts at 3.5 to 4 inches, sports bags, backpacks, and embroidered patch production. The white outer border ensures the badge reads clearly on any fabric color without additional framing.
Stitching Tips
Use a medium to heavy cutaway stabilizer given the high stitch density across the full circular fill at larger sizes. Mark the center on your stabilizer before hooping as any off-center alignment will show on the finished white outer border. The gray outline lines defining the mane spikes are narrow satin elements running between the white and black zones, so reduce machine speed through the mane section at smaller sizes to keep those detail lines from merging with the adjacent fills. At 2 to 2.5 inches the mane spike detail simplifies but the overall horse silhouette and white-blue split remain clearly readable.
