The mane is divided into individual sections by blue negative space channels that run between the spike tufts, letting the blue field show through as dark accent lines that define the mane structure without a second satin color. Within the lion face area, blue negative space channels define the eye socket, jaw line, and facial anatomy the same way. Stitching Tips

Stitch the blue fill first as the base layer across the full badge interior, then the silver lion silhouette as a raised fill above the blue, then the white border ring last. Use a heavy-weight cutaway stabilizer at the larger sizes given the 50,591 stitch count at 7 inches. At 3 and 3.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to preserve the channel width precision within the silver fill and prevent pile from bridging across the narrow blue negative space channels between mane sections.
