Stitching Tips

Even hoop tension across the full DETROIT line width is the most important variable — at 7 inches DETROIT spans nearly the full hoop width and any lateral tension imbalance will produce visible lean or compression at the outer letters. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics. At 3 and 3.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to keep the counter openings and stroke end edge quality clean during stitching.
