Detroit Tigers Old English D Embroidery Design

The upper swash is a broad curved satin band rising above the main cap height, arcing from the upper left to the upper right with a tapering convex profile and a thin pointed termination at both ends. The main body is a standard capital D with a vertical left stem and a rounded right bowl, creating an open counter at the interior. Three horizontal spur elements extend outward from the left side of the stem at evenly spaced vertical positions, each tapering to a fine pointed tip at its left termination. A central crossbar satin element runs horizontally through the interior counter zone. The base of the letterform flares outward in a symmetrical gothic foot construction with curved satin extensions ending in upward-curving pointed terminals at the lower left and lower right.
