Stitching Tips

Use vivid yellow for the shield field, true black for the horse body, border, and SF monogram, bright white for the horse highlight accents and tricolor white band, kelly green for the tricolor green stripe, and red for the tricolor red stripe. Tight registration between the green, white, and red tricolor bands is critical — any drift will close the narrow white band and merge the green and red into a single stripe. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics. At 2 and 2.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to prevent the horse leg detail and mane strands from sinking into the pile. Reduce machine speed at 6.5 and 7 inches to maintain registration precision across the full stitch run.
