Stitching Tips
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer for Designs 1, 3, 4, 5, and 8 on all knit and stretch fabrics. For Design 2, the open heart outline, tearaway is sufficient on woven cotton but switch to cutaway on stretch or pile fabrics. Reduce machine speed by 20 to 30 percent when stitching the gold fill zones — high-sheen polyester gold threads can shred at full speed. Use a 70/10 sharp needle for the fine detail zones in Design 4 to keep the black border lines and teeth satin columns clean. Design 1 is the most reliable choice for cap embroidery from this bundle given its balanced vertical structure. For all filled designs, water-soluble topping helps satin columns sit flat on textured surfaces.
