What Is Included
Design 1 is the retro orbit logo, featuring the blocky H letter centered over a five-point star outline with long curved orbital arcs sweeping around the composition in yellow, orange, and red, and a small circular dot at the end of the outermost arc. Available in 9 sizes from 2 to 6 inches.
Design 2 is the full circular team badge with the interlocking H on a navy blue disc, a five-point star behind the H, "HOUSTON" arched along the top of the orange outer ring, and "ASTROS" arched along the bottom. Available in 8 sizes from 3.5 to 7 inches.
Design 3 is the tighter circular badge version of the same H-on-star emblem without the text ring, focusing purely on the star and H center element with the orange border circle. Available in 9 sizes from 2 to 6 inches.

Recommended Uses
The circular badge designs, Designs 2 and 3, work well on structured caps, jacket chest patches, and tote bags where a dense filled badge format reads cleanly. The open star H logo, Design 4, is the strongest choice for the back of jackets and the chest of polo shirts where a wider spread composition reads at medium and large sizes. Designs 5, 6, and 8, the block wordmarks, are natural fits for jersey fronts, sleeve panels, and cap visors. The script wordmarks, Designs 7, 9, and 10, are the strongest choices for personalized gifts, stadium-style tees, and any placement where the retro Astros identity carries recognition value. Design 1, the retro orbit logo, is best reserved for flat or lightly curved surfaces since the open line work reads best without distortion from highly curved substrates.
Stitching Tips
For the high-stitch-count circular badge designs, Designs 2 and 3, use a medium-weight cut-away stabilizer and float a water-soluble topping on pique polo or any visible-texture knit. These designs push thread density high enough that inadequate backing will let the fill sink into the fabric weave and lose crisp border definition. A 75/11 embroidery needle handles the tight satin columns in the H letterform cleanly and reduces skipped stitches at the column direction changes. For the script wordmark designs, Designs 7, 9, and 10, tear-away stabilizer works well on stable woven fabrics but switch to cut-away on any stretch fabric. Thread tension should be tested on a sample piece first since even slight overtension will pull the thin connecting strokes out of alignment. A 40-weight rayon or polyester thread in red and gold produces the richest color rendition on these designs. For the arched wordmarks, Designs 5 and 8, center the hoop on the front panel with the arc apex at the crown seam and select 4 to 5.5 inches depending on the cap brand to keep the letter ends within the panel boundary.
