Stitching Tips

Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer for Designs 2, 3, 4, and 7 on all knit and stretch fabrics. The lips design and circular patch carry the highest fill density and especially benefit from cutaway support. For Design 6, the standalone horseshoe, tearaway works on woven cotton and stable knits but switch to cutaway on fleece or stretch. Water-soluble topping helps satin columns sit flat on textured surfaces across all filled designs. The two-tone colt in Design 5 is sensitive to thread tension — reduce machine speed slightly during the navy detail pass to prevent the narrower satin elements from pulling the white fill out of register. For cap embroidery, Designs 5 and 6 are the most practical choices, with Design 6 fitting across both structured and unstructured cap fronts at 3 to 4.5 inches.
