The Jacksonville Jaguars JAGS heraldic shield crest in gold and black. A gold satin outer border follows the full shield perimeter: two straight upper edges meeting at a shallow center peak, curved shoulder transitions, and converging sides tapering to a rounded lower point. The black fill covers the complete shield interior. JAGS is set in large gold bold italic lettering in the upper shield zone with the J maintaining its characteristic downward hook descender. The jaguar head occupies the lower shield zone in side profile facing right: gold fur with black spot patches across the upper head and back of neck, white lower jaw and muzzle, teal tongue inside the open mouth, white individual teeth, and teal eye slit. The jaguar's visual edge against the black shield field is defined by the white jaw zone and gold fur fill rather than a contrasting border, since both the mascot outline and the shield field are black.
