The badge is built in concentric zones from the outside in. A grey outer ring wraps the full perimeter. Inside it a blue ring provides a color transition into the main badge body. The wide red ring is the text-carrying zone: "ANGELS" arches along the upper interior in white block letters, "BASEBALL" arches along the lower interior in matching white block letters, and the founding year is split as "19" at the nine o'clock position and "61" at the three o'clock position within the red zone, both in white block numerals. A blue inner ring separates the red text zone from the white center disc. The A-with-halo cap logo sits centered on the white disc: the red A body filling the lower portion of the disc with a blue outline, and the white halo ring floating above the A's pointed peak in the upper portion of the disc.
