The Los Angeles Dodgers "Dodgers" script wordmark in the classic flowing jersey style, stitched on open fabric without any background, outline, or secondary color. The capital D opens with a wide looping entrance stroke that rises from the lower left, sweeps upward and to the left, then descends into the main D body. The connected lowercase o, d, g, e, r, and s follow in flowing script — the d carrying an ascending loop above the x-height, the g descending below the baseline with a closed loop tail, and the s curling to a closed terminal at the upper right. A long underline tail originates beneath the D body, extends to the left to a curling closed tip, then sweeps rightward beneath the full width of the wordmark, tapering to a fine point at the right end.
