The interlocking LA mark over a gold basketball circle: dense purple satin fills both letterforms with the L's vertical stem fused to the A's diagonal leg into a single unified monogram, gold satin borders trace every letterform edge including the inner cutout spaces between stems, and a gold basketball sits behind the LA with purple arc seam lines raised above the gold panel fills as a distinct third layer. A double-outline border frames the full outer perimeter with a purple outer ring and a gold inner ring running in parallel, giving the finished piece the dimensional quality of a sewn patch at every scale. One of the most recognized cap logos in professional basketball, eleven sizes from 2 to 7 inches.

Recommended Uses
Cap fronts at 2 to 3.5 inches, left chest on polo shirts and practice jerseys, centered chest on hoodies and crewnecks at mid and larger sizes, sleeve placement on team jackets, embroidered patch and iron-on applications for bags and accessories, and jacket back at 7 inches. The near-square proportions across all sizes make this design equally suited for chest panels and cap fronts, with the double-outline border reading as a self-contained patch-quality emblem on any fabric color.
Stitching Tips
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on stretch fabrics and athletic jerseys, tearaway on woven twill and canvas. The gold basketball panels stitch first and the purple letterform fills are placed on top, so do not resequence colors if your software prompts for it as the boundary management between the two overlapping color zones depends on the original sequencing. For cap embroidery, use a cap-specific hoop with curved cap backing and test alignment before production as the near-square footprint is less forgiving of registration drift than a narrow horizontal wordmark. At 2 to 2.5 inches, apply water-soluble topping on textured fabrics to keep the gold panel fills and both double-border rings crisp.
