The New York Mets interlocked NY cap monogram in standalone embroidered form, without any background disc, badge ring, or secondary graphic element. The N occupies the left portion of the composition, its two vertical stems rising to large rounded bulb terminals at the upper-left and upper-right corners, with the diagonal stroke running from upper-left to lower-right through the letterform interior. The Y sits interlocked to the right, its two upper arms each terminating in rounded bulb serifs that mirror the N terminal style, and its stem descending through the lower center of the composition to a curved foot terminal at the bottom. The right leg of the N passes behind the stem of the Y through the central overlap zone, with the orange outline maintaining visible negative space channels between the two letter bodies throughout. The full composition is filled in navy blue satin with an orange outline tracing every curve, notch, bulb terminal, and the inner channel boundaries at consistent width.
