Phoenix Suns Sunburst Basketball Embroidery File
The Phoenix Suns sunburst basketball logo: an orange basketball with black raised satin seam lines sits forward of a deep gold jagged sunburst radiating outward at irregular angles, with three layered gold motion streaks trailing from the lower left pulling the full mark forward. The basketball fill uses directional orange satin that curves with the form of the ball rather than running flat, giving the surface subtle volume at larger sizes. The sunburst ray tips and motion streak endpoints cut cleanly against the garment with no outer border, so the design works equally on black, navy, white, and gray fabrics where the orange and gold palette carries its own contrast. Eleven sizes from 2 to 7 inches wide.
Eleven sizes from 2 to 7 inches wide. Minimum hoop required is 4x4 inches. Three thread colors: orange, gold, and black.

Recommended Uses
Centered chest on hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, and team tees, left chest on polo shirts and practice jerseys, cap fronts at 3.5 inches and below, jacket backs at the larger sizes, and fan merchandise for Southwest market buyers. The orange and gold palette creates maximum contrast on black and navy garments.
Stitching Tips
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on stretch fabrics and athletic jerseys, tearaway on woven twill and canvas. The sunburst stitches first and the orange basketball fill is placed on top as a distinct second layer to keep the warm-color boundary clean at the ball perimeter, so do not resequence colors if your software prompts for it. The sharp sunburst ray tips and motion streak endpoints have no outer border, making stabilizer choice critical to keep the pointed geometry from fraying on looser weaves. Apply water-soluble topping on pique and terry at 2 to 3 inches to protect ray tip sharpness. Before production on black garments, test the orange fill first to verify opacity before adding the black seam lines on top.
