Design Details

The lower band is filled with a light white or off-white thread in the same horizontal fill direction, creating a clean visual separation between the two halves. A white satin stitch border outlines the full perimeter of the flag rectangle, framing both bands and giving the patch a defined, finished edge on all four sides. On the upper red band, the crescent moon is positioned in the left quarter of the flag, formed by a filled white crescent shape that faces rightward with a clean outer arc and a precise inner cutaway. To the right of the crescent, five five-pointed stars are arranged in a circular arc pattern, with three stars across the upper row and two stars across the lower row, all stitched in white fill thread. Digitizing Quality

The five individual stars stitched over the red fill at this compact scale represent the most demanding detail element in the design. Each star is small enough that its five points approach the minimum viable satin fill width for clean stitchout, requiring individual point-by-point density calibration to ensure all tips close to a clean fine point without thread nesting or blunt termination. The white fill density for each star was also increased beyond standard fill settings to achieve full opacity over the red background without the star surfaces appearing washed out or pink-tinted.

The inner concave edge of the crescent moon required careful curve compensation at compact size.
