The NHL-style Golden Knights shield badge with the distinctive diagonal construction. The classic NHL shield shape — notched upper shoulder tabs, wide flat body, pointed lower tip — is filled with Vegas gold satin, cut diagonally upper-left to lower-right by a wide black banner edged on both sides by white satin border stripes. GOLDEN sits on the upper half of the black banner and KNIGHTS on the lower half, both in white condensed bold capitals angled to follow the diagonal banner axis. Gold fill triangles are visible at the upper-left and lower-right corners of the shield. A thick black satin border traces the full shield perimeter. Nothing in this composition is horizontal or vertical — the banner, the white border stripes, and the letterforms all run at the same consistent diagonal. Eleven sizes from 2 to 7 inches.

Stitching Tips
Use Vegas gold for the shield field, true black for the diagonal banner and outer border, and bright white for the banner border stripes and letterforms. Use medium-weight cutaway stabilizer for knit and stretch fabrics. At 2 and 2.5 inch sizes, apply water-soluble topping on textured fabrics to preserve the narrow white banner border stripes and letterform clarity during stitching. The white border stripes flanking the black banner are the most registration-sensitive element in this design, so ensure firm even hoop tension before starting.
