Stitching Tips

Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on all stretch and knit fabrics to keep the long curved wing border from distorting through the dense black fill run. On woven and structured fabrics, tearaway is sufficient. The red accent fills at the beak and wing segments are narrow and close together, so reduce machine speed through those sections at 3 and 3.5 inches to keep the white border and red fills from merging on the finished piece.
