Design Details

The tiger figure occupies the full center of the composition with a heavily muscled upper body. Fur texture lines across the chest, shoulders, and forearms are rendered as darker fill strokes over the orange base. The head carries a full three-color facial structure: orange fill, black stripe pattern, white muzzle and chin, and yellow eye fills that appear in this design and nowhere else in the Bengals collection. The football at the figure's midsection is a brown fill with white lace stitching, and the clawed fingers wrapping it are rendered with white claw tips.

The claw slash marks behind the figure are tapered lines that radiate outward from behind the shoulders into the background area. BENGALS above uses a bold arched font in orange with a heavy black outline. FOOTBALL on the lower ribbon banner is white on a black fill with a consistent band structure. The outer boundary of the composition is irregular, following the tiger figure, slash marks, and banner edges rather than any contained shape.

Stitching Tips

Plan your five thread colors before starting: orange, black, white, brown for the football, and yellow for the eyes. Having all five loaded or staged before beginning will save time during the color stop sequence. Use a firm cutaway stabilizer on all fabric types. The tiger body is densely filled across the chest and forearm areas, and any stabilizer movement during those sections will cause registration errors in the facial detail and claw marks that stitch over them later.

On fleece or heavyweight materials, reduce machine speed through the facial detail section and through the claw mark pass. The claw slash marks benefit from a slow needle pass, as the tapered stitch columns need consistent thread tension to lay flat without looping at the tips.
