Stitching Tips

Load colors in sequence before starting: black first for the head base, then orange for the face fills, then white for the border, cheek stripe, and tooth elements. Use a firm cutaway stabilizer on all fabric types — the layered fill structure builds significant density through the face area and any stabilizer movement will show as registration gaps in the stripe detail. On fleece or terry, add a water-soluble topping across the full design area to keep all fill layers sitting cleanly above the pile surface.
