Wide center chest on hoodies and sweatshirts where both lines fill the chest zone with full typographic presence, left-chest nameplate placement on polo shirts and jerseys, cap fronts at 2 to 2.5 inches, and sleeve or secondary placement on outerwear at mid sizes. The single orange color reads most vividly on white and gray garments, and adapts cleanly to any other garment color with counter openings taking on whatever color the fabric provides.

Stitching Tips

Uniform thread tension across the full CLEVELAND line is critical at the larger sizes — at 7 inches the top line spans nearly the full hoop width, and any lateral tension imbalance will produce visible lean or compression at the word ends. Ensure the garment is hooped with equal tension on both sides before stitching. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics. At 2 and 2.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to keep the counter openings and letter edges clean through stitching.
