The Dallas Cowboys five-point star reduced to pure outline satin line work with COWBOYS lettering cutting horizontally through the mid-zone. Each of the five star arms is a narrow navy satin path tracing the outer edge from tip to inner notch, ten individual arm segments total converging at five sharp pointed tips and a small filled navy anchor zone at the center. No fill inside the star arms or between them. COWBOYS passes horizontally through the star at the horizontal arm axis, the letters crossing over the left and right arm segments, each letter bordered by a white satin outline run that separates the navy letterforms from both the star arm satin and the garment behind them. Garment color fills every open area throughout the design. 10,094 stitches at 7 inches, the lowest stitch count design in the Cowboys collection. Nine sizes from 3 to 7 inches.

Center chest on hoodies and tees, left-chest on polo shirts and jerseys, cap fronts across the smaller sizes, sleeve accent placement at mid sizes, and lightweight fabric applications where dense fills are not suitable. The open-field construction adapts to any garment color and works particularly well for vintage or distressed-style fan merchandise where a sketch-quality mark fits the garment concept better than a filled logo.

Stitching Tips

Stitch the star arm segments first, then the COWBOYS letter fills, then the white letter borders as the final pass. Running the white borders last keeps them elevated above both the arm satin and the letter fill at the crossing zones. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics even at the low stitch count — the open construction is sensitive to fabric migration between arm segments during stitching. At 3 and 3.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to keep the arm tip geometry and letter border edges clean.
