The Indianapolis Colts full-body leaping colt in a dual-layer shadow construction. The base layer is a deep navy fill shaped as the complete horse silhouette, offset diagonally downward and to the right to simulate a cast shadow giving the figure dimensional depth. The foreground layer is a white-silver satin fill covering the horse body from shoulder to hindquarters with a gray satin outer border separating it from the navy shadow below. The mane rises from the neck and poll as individual pointed navy satin strands with gray satin tip borders. The tail flows to the lower left as a fan of matching satin strands. All four legs are fully visible in the extended leap position: front pair reaching forward, rear pair extending back, lower leg segments tapering to narrow hoof zones defined by gray satin bars. Recommended Uses

Wide horizontal chest placement on jerseys, hoodies, and long-sleeve shirts where the leap motion reads across the full chest width. At 6 to 7 inches the dual-layer shadow construction and mane detail are fully visible. Cap front panels at 4 to 4.5 inches where the leaping silhouette reads strongly. Works well on dark and medium garments where the white-silver foreground body separates clearly from the fabric.

Stitching Tips

Stitch the navy shadow layer first, then the white-silver foreground body, then the gray outline and anatomical detail lines, then the mane and tail strand tips last. Use a firm cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics to prevent the wide horizontal fill from distorting. Apply water-soluble topping on fleece or terry surfaces. Reduce machine speed when stitching the mane and tail strand tips and the rear leg crossing zone at 3.5 inches and below.
