Stitching Tips

Use true black for the banner fill, bright white for the OHIO STATE letterforms, gray for the outer border and letter borders, and scarlet red for the underline arc. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics to control tension across the wide horizontal banner fill. Ensure firm even hoop tension before stitching, particularly through the arch portions where the banner fill transitions between the raised center and lower outer ends. At 3.5 and 4 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to preserve the gray letter border detail and the narrow scarlet underline arc.
