Wide center chest on hoodies and sweatshirts where both lines fill the chest zone with full typographic presence, left-chest nameplate placement on polo shirts and jerseys, cap fronts at 3 and 3.5 inches, and sleeve wordmark placement at the mid sizes. The single scarlet color on an open field adapts cleanly to any garment color, with the counter openings reading in whatever color the garment provides.

Stitching Tips

Even thread tension across the full horizontal span of BUCKEYES is the most important production variable here. Any lateral tension imbalance during stitching will show as letter lean toward the tight side of the hoop — ensure the garment is hooped with equal tension on both sides of the design footprint before beginning. Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer on knit and stretch fabrics. At 3 and 3.5 inches on textured fabrics, apply water-soluble topping to keep the open counter spaces clean and prevent fabric pile from bridging across the narrow counter openings during stitching.
