Recommended Uses
Centered chest on hoodies and basketball jerseys, jacket back panels at 6 to 7 inches, cap fronts at 3.5 to 4 inches, sports bags, backpacks, and fan merchandise. The slightly taller than wide proportion at all sizes makes this design a natural fit for centered chest placements and cap fronts. At 2 to 2.5 inches it works cleanly as a sleeve accent or compact secondary badge.
Stitching Tips
Use a medium-weight cutaway stabilizer to maintain the curved hoop shape and prevent the wide elliptical ring from distorting on stretch fabrics. The flame tips at the top are the finest elements in the design, with narrow yellow satin fills surrounded by black outline that must stay distinct from each other at smaller sizes. At 2 to 3 inches, reduce machine speed through the flame section and confirm hoop tension is firm before starting to keep the individual tip curls from merging. The black seam lines on the red basketball body are raised satin runs over the red fill, so do not resequence color order if your software prompts for it.
